FAQ

You won't feel any vertigo during the flight, because your feet are not in contact with the ground. Once you've got over the emotion of preparing for takeoff - and it's obvious at this precise moment - a good dose of stress mixed with the excitement of challenging yourself, you'll experience takeoff in Guadeloupe in a much simpler way than in the mountains: there's no need to run, the crew take off seated, thanks to the presence of constant winds, the trade winds! After 2 or 3 minutes, the passenger tames the situation and... the magic happens! The best way to realize that vertigo isn't just a fear of being afraid, it's daring!

What an original idea, a change from chocolates, sexy underwear or perfume! 1- Carefully read the dedicated web page & carefully fill in the "customer form" (the one that offers); above all, don't make any mistakes in the e-mail address. 2- You'll need to enter a date to access the reservation: either the day of the desired flight, or you'll leave the choice to the recipient by entering the date on which you're going to offer the gift card. And you must clearly specify this information in the "passenger form" (the person flying): flight date OR gift date. 3- Once the gift card has been paid for at 100% (link in the 2nd e-mail received), you'll receive a summary text with the gift card to print out and the information dedicated to the recipient so that he or she can make an appointment with A2L PARAPENTE GUADELOUPE.

We're generally afraid of what we don't know, of what we haven't mastered! Your apprehension lies more in the fact that you fear your ability to understand and respect the instructor's instructions, particularly for take-off, than in actually carrying them out, since they are so simple: you take off sitting down, you land sitting down... you fly sitting down! So fear would have been legitimate before; it gives you good reason to dare to challenge yourself. Then you'll quickly realize that the biggest risk really lies in getting the hang of it! The most complicated part is really daring to take the first step... And how nice it is to be proud of yourself!

This is very subjective... Indeed, the light will give different tones depending on the time of day. The morning sun illuminates the coastline, and the play of shadows on the cliffs and vegetation lends a sense of movement and speed, in short, energizes the aerial tour; in the middle of the day, if the sun is generous, it's the lagoon that benefits from this play of transparency, boosting the color contrasts. Then, at the end of the day, provided that Sam, the pilot-instructor, is not with his apprentice pilots as part of the training courses, you can enjoy the shimmering colors of the afternoon rays and the shadow of the paraglider on the foam of the rollers... So, to each his own and to your heart's content, M'sieur-Dame!

An aerial show between passengers and spectators is on the program, so everyone has a great time, especially dad & mamarazzi! The site also lends itself to a BBQ, with a shaded area for sensitive skins and toddlers; a 45-minute hike around the spot is very accessible, and why not take a dip: there are seaside baths just 7 minutes from takeoff, accessible on foot and with a view over the entire flight spot. The take-off site is easy to find on the WAZE application or GOOGLE MAP by searching for A2L-parapente. Don't forget to add 15 minutes to the road app, as the communal access is "dented but passable". You'll be driving at a walking pace. So much for the scenery!

It all depends on the wind conditions at take-off! To best adapt to these conditions, the instructor has several tandem glider sizes at his disposal: 26, 34 & 41 square meters! The stronger the wind (but reasonably flyable), the better it is to have a small sail size or a heavy passenger (max. 120kg); conversely, if the wind is light, it's a good idea to use the large tandem sail or fly with a light passenger (minimum 25kg and 7 years old); the ideal wind strength is between 25 and 35 km/h at take-off, as the instructor can then best adapt by juggling the glider's surface area and the total weight of the crew (equipment+passenger+pilot). So keep on discovering the local cuisine, we've got a bit of leeway.

So here's the charm of paragliding in Guadeloupe, like all outdoor activities linked to the natural elements: there's what A2L PARAPENTE GUADELOUPE can offer you, what you want & the weather will always have the last word!!!! So if you're on vacation, opt for an early session so you'll have time to reschedule; even more so if there are a lot of you who want to fly, because the instructor is alone and the flights take place one after the other: no worries, because the pilot organizes aerial "shows" that make passengers & spectators accomplices... The pilot's dexterity opens up perspectives ranging from humor to free-style, and with impressive expertise! Our customers say it best: read our Google or TripAdvisor reviews...
